    Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems, Business Division; University of the Virgin Islands. St. Thomas/St. Croix. UVI is a historically black university providing quality education to both locals and an international audience. Brought the CIS program to the St. Croix campus and, as program coordinator, spearheaded the only course changes to the program in a decade. Teach graduate and undergraduate courses across a wide variety of topics focusing on Information Systems.

    Director of Centers of Excellence in Research and Instructional Technology; University of the Virgin Islands. St. Thomas/St. Croix. Provide faculty development through an ambitious series of seminars and workshops; individualized support through access to a variety of instructional aids. Assist in locating funding/reduced pricing for hardware and software tools used for instruction and research projects; creation and maintenance of a library of literature and demonstration software; creation and maintenance of lists of vendors who provide educational pricing and grants. Act as site and web master for the faculty web site.

Taught a variety of math and computer science courses and participated in a variety of hurricane Hugo recovery projects including helping local businesses get federal funds through grants prepared at the Small Business Development Center.

    Microcomputer specialist, "Computer Wizard," University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas. Directly responsible for the infrastructure of the University of the Virgin Islands' Distant Learning program. This involved traveling to other universities and remote sites in various countries to assist in development of distant learning programs and sites. Assisted with faculty and staff development through software demonstrations and training; repaired and maintained university computers; reviewed curriculum involving computer science; researched and developed hypertext, telecommunication packages and other software applications; supervised lab assistants and technicians, and assisted with grants.

    President of Automated Answers, St. Thomas. Automated Answers was a successful company that I founded. Major profit centers were computer lectures, professional training and Foreign Sales Corporation management. Directed the record keeping and procedures for a number of Foreign Sales Corporations. Directed staff as they analyzed business procedures, then selected, installed, trained and maintained appropriate software and hardware for business.

    Director of Educational Development, CompuMark. CompuMark was a national chain of computer stores based in the New Orleans area. Created and managed a profitable department that focused on creating and implementing chain-wide educational programs. Activities included: departmental staff management; merchandise evaluation and recommendations; organizing and speaking at in-house and school seminars; helping schools and small business make software and hardware decisions; and work with developers to find solutions to unique problems.

    Instructor/Developer, Compu-Tech. (Kenner, LA.). Taught BASIC and LOGO programming while developing course plans and materials for parochial schools grades 3 - 8. Made presentations to encourage educators, parents and students to participate in the Compu-Tech educational program.

    Manager, Pebble in The Water Bookspace. (New Orleans, LA). Duties included employee hiring and scheduling, control of inventory and bookkeeping.

    Research Assistant III, University of California at Davis. Research Assistant III is the highest job classification offered to students. Worked directly under Dr. Frederick Lorenz in the nationally famous Biofeedback lab. Accomplishments include: integrating lab computers with each other and larger university computers; writing original programs to collect, analyze and display physiological data from human subjects; and direction of other researchers in the design and implementation of their research projects. Areas of special interest were Fourier analysis of brain waves and adapting stress responses through the use of video games. A major requirement for this position was the ability to work with individuals with stress related conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
