Subscribe to NOAA Weather Updates Via Email

The following instructions show how to subscribe to NOAA weather updates via Email.

• Send Email from your Email client to LISTSERV@PO.UIUC.EDU with just the following plain text message (no sig):
  

  SUB WX-ATLAN YourFirstName YourLastName

  Note that you must use your Email client as your Email address is automatically gathered.

• In less than a minute you will receive a confirming message. Follow the instructions which essentially say to reply to the message. This confirms that it was you that asked to subscribe.

• I suggest you tune your subscription after the confirmation by sending one more message to LISTSERV@PO.UIUC.EDU
